A Measureless Invitation

“Love is the one thing that we’re capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space.” Dr. Brand from the film, Interstellar.

While God placed us in a world defined by measurements, He breathed His Spirit, the measureless revelation of love, into us.

Jason invites us to trade a finite perspective with an infinite revelation. And the good news is, in Christ, it’s possible for us to discover this revelation!

Eph 2:6 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus…”

This message features a scientific study on the effects of remote retroactive prayer. You can learn about this study at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC61047/

Jason gave this message to Newsong Church in the summer of 2019.

What Am I Still Lacking?

The young fella replied, “All these I have kept; what am I still lacking?”…“What am I still lacking? It’s a good question, a recognition that something is missing, an acknowledgment that something still doesn’t measure up, a confession of incompleteness. What am I still lacking? is the conclusion of living in the context of law instead of grace. What am I still lacking? is the beginning and end of every transactional approach to God.

Kindness

It’s His kindness that exposes our arrogance and hypocrisy, that knocks us off our high horses; the same kindness that violently knocked Paul on his ass exposing his elite violent unkindness toward God’s beloved. And it’s His kindness that exposes our ignorance, broken ideology, and oppressive theology, that gently reveals resurrection life; the same kindness shown on a road to Emmaus when God hid Himself so His beloved could discover union.

Dream Like An Old Man: Part Four, Heaven On Earth

A true dream, one that is birthed in the heart of “old men dreamers,” carries with it authority and power. Only a person who has experienced the death of vision, who has nailed vision to the cross, has access to the power of resurrection. When he dreams again, he dreams the dreams of heaven. And a dream that’s birthed in heaven has power to transform earth, it can change a family, a neighborhood, a city, a nation, it grows exponentially and has eternal significance.

Equality With God?

..I believe Jesus is God’s thoughts regarding equality; that the definition of equality is discovered in a triune God stepping into flesh and blood. And I think Jesus, fully God and fully man, displayed this equality through His union, oneness, and intimacy with Father and Holy Spirit.

Turn The Damn Thing Off!

There were two ways to report on the Promised Land, from man’s perspective or Gods. There are two ways to see our lives, from man’s perspective or Gods. These are always the two perspectives we must choose from when it comes to life.
