My Interview On 100 Huntley Street

100 Huntley Street is Canada’s longest running daily talk show.

They tell stories of people who have had life-changing encounters with God – whether they be world leaders, celebrities, sports figures or everyday people and late last year I got to go on the show.

I remember the show as a boy growing up in Canada. In fact, my grandparents bought their first and only TV so they could watch 100 Huntley Street. So it was an honor and fun experience to be asked to come on the show. Normally it airs live, but the night before my interview we had a crazy rain storm that killed the studio power. They had a generator that basically kept the lights and cameras on the morning I arrived but we couldn’t go live. So they taped my interview with Moira Brown and it just aired Monday of this week.

It’s kinda fun to watch it and realize that I don’t look as nervous as I felt and that my words actually made sense. It was so my heart that Gods love would be revealed.

The Whole Story is the True Story

To describe God as in control is an earthbound perspective, it’s’ human reasoning at best, while it may be an accurate assessment from where we are standing, it not the truth, at least, not the truth that sets us free. Control is an immature and powerless way to describe God,

2020

Earlier this year I noted in a Newsletter the pioneering nature of our ministry and nothing’s changed. We have one passion, to reveal that God is love, looks like Jesus, and He is always good. It is our heart that everything we create is catalytic for an encounter with His great affection. We are daily dreaming and leaning into this grand dangerous, beautiful discovery of His goodness. And we are shouting it from the rooftops along the way.

This Will Be Our Finest Hour

Though it has felt just the opposite during this quarantine time, this has been one of the greatest times of personal growth and Kingdom advancement for the body of Christ.
