The Presence: Title Sequence

Introducing Our New TV Show

Dear friends, I want to introduce you to a project I have been working on with some amazing people over these last months; a TV show called, The Presence.

The Presence is an organic television series that highlights men and women from all walks of life who are experiencing the Presence of the Holy Spirit.

We are so excited about this show! It’s our heart that it will be a catalyst for the viewer to discover Gods good love – the revelation of His presence! It’s a passionate call to action meant to encourage the viewer to step boldly into his or her own story and develop a faith that leads to a life marked by the power of the Holy Spirit.

My friend Sallie Mosely and I host the show and have the amazing opportunity to meet men and women throughout the world who are living daily life in God’s Presence while experiencing heaven to earth life encounters.

Episode one is finished! It features worship leaders, Jonathan & Melissa Helser, and Port Au Prince Haiti based doctor and priest Father Richard Frechette. It is slotted to release in late July on God TV, TBS, Daystar and several other faith networks. I will post dates as soon as we have them.

Enjoy the title sequence and pray for continued favor as we move forward.

Where is God?

We had less than ten dollars to our name, mostly in loose change, and we had about a gallon of gas in the van. Karen is amazing, her faith stunning. She is well acquainted with our Father’s good love and made a statement that highlights it: “We have food in the fridge. We are blessed and God is so good.”

Conquering the “I am not” Lie

The incarnation is the basis for healthy thinking. Therefore, the idea that I am not the expression of His image and likeness can no longer attach itself to my thoughts.

The Nature of Soap

Next to the toilet was a large barrel filled with clean-ish water. Floating in the water was a big plastic cup. The cup was for both flushing and bathing. Oh, I forgot to note, the toilet room was also the shower.

PETE SCHELLER / DANCING WITH WISDOM

“For too long the image and understanding of God, the One Jesus called “Abba”, has been hidden from view or distorted beyond recognition. The unspoken cry of sons and daughters all over the world is ‘Give us our Dad back!’”

A renewed mind, western wisdom vs. God’s wisdom, theology in relational terms, and above all, a Father who doesn’t just love us, He really likes us; in this conversation, Pete Scheller shares from his new book, Dancing with Wisdom. The guys dive deep into the Father nature of God and laugh along the way.

Good Soil

As a kid, I listened in earnest when this parable was preached. You see, I really wanted to be good soil. But I could do the math well enough to realize the odds were against me, cause 3 out of 4 soils suck.

It seems 75% of all soil is in for some bad news. But there was also good news, for 25% of us. And that was the gospel I was raised in.

A lot of those early formative prayers could be boiled down to “Dear God, I was bad soil again today, please help me beat the odds tomorrow, amen”
