A FAMILY STORY MINISTRIES
Jesus said, “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.” Jesus both revealed the Father and what life could look like when lived sure in the Father’s always good love.
Jesus showed us that every good story is a family story.
We are all living A Family Story. We are all created to grow as sons and daughters sure in our Father’s always good love. We are all invited to live confident as fathers and mothers, becoming living expressions of His kingdom come.
This is the gospel of Jesus and it changes the world!
In 2014 Karen and I felt our Father inviting us to dream with Him into creating A Family Story Ministries. In the years that have followed, we have given ourselves to revealing the goodness of our Father’s love through speaking, writing, music, and film. We have been continually amazed by the impact of this life-transforming message.
A Family Story Ministries is a 501ce non-profit committed to teaching and releasing media content that is catalytic to an encounter with our Father’s always-good love.
A Family Story Newsletters
Then we walked down the streets of JT Williams, a struggling community, to pick up twenty or so sweet kids. We took them to their local school parking lot, gave them a snack, told a Bible story, played games, and worked on a craft together. I loved it.
Earlier this year I noted in a Newsletter the pioneering nature of our ministry and nothing’s changed. We have one passion, to reveal that God is love, looks like Jesus, and He is always good. It is our heart that everything we create is catalytic for an encounter with His great affection. We are daily dreaming and leaning into this grand dangerous, beautiful discovery of His goodness. And we are shouting it from the rooftops along the way.
I’ve often described how leading A Family Story these past years has felt much like exploring the best route up a mountain while people are following you.
It’s been an exhilarating adventure filled with joy, breakthrough, and revelation. It’s also had its share of wrong turns and backtracking.
It can be a challenge to cast vision while backtracking. But there has been nothing more transformational than the goodness of God we’ve discovered through pioneering!
