Cool guys! I’ve never heard it put that way, but I guess we “rethought” church many many years ago! haha. This podcast closely describes our experience with the Ekklesia, meeting in homes (or wherever) for most of my life. I can really attest to the power of each person being “a leader.” The experience is so rich when the full revelation is brought in bits and pieces through each person present until the whole revelation is revealed. We get to collectively be in awe of what God is saying to us all together. It’s exciting to hear that more people are experiencing the amazing intimacy and freedom that comes from allowing the Holy Spirit to lead the gatherings. I have been excited about my church experience for so many years, but it often falls on deaf ears or people are afraid of it because of reasons discussed in this podcast (especially accountability – people are so afraid of not having someone in charge, but JESUS is in charge and he’s WAY better at leading his church than any of us could be!) All of this to say, it’s validating and exciting to witness this revelation taking off! May Julie and Mark be blessed as they share their story!
