haha I’m so excited for this. Just started and I’m giggling at Derek saying he just wants to “go and write poems now.” I feel ya, man!
Thank you for the great podcast with David! I have loved his work for a long time as well. It does a thing to my heart that I can’t put into words. I would love a part two, and also, would love to have a whole episode of just David reading his poetry! haha. Would be such a wonderful thing to listen to when one needs to calm anxiety or soothe their hurt.
We’re all ready to write poetry, haha. Yeah, we could have talked another hour, lots of questions we didn’t get to but it was rich. He said he’d come back on with us. Yeah, him reading his poem was a special moment.
How good and clear is the water that flows from humble hearts! I never connected Moses, the murderer, to Moses, the giver of “Thou Shalt not Murder!” WOW!
I pray that I will always be, as one who identifies as a visible member of the Body of Christ. Be humbled by my murder of others I have looked down upon. Looked down upon in my anger and self-righteousness and be humble before them in love!
Five-Star kudos for this one, brothers!!!!!
Same here, I never connected Moses, the murderer, to the lawman, yeah, powerful!
Thanks for the encouragement, can’t wait to connect with you!
