This was so fascinating and interesting to digest! I love her approach to renewing the mind by actually going into the emotional pain instead of suppressing it. That is how God worked in me and transformed my entire lift last spring. It was hard, it hurt, but in sitting in the pain, I was able to understand it and learn from it and heal from it instead of it controlling me like it had for my entire life. Good stuff right there! I’ve ordered the book, looking forward to reading more in detail. Thanks for this, guys!
Thanks for sharing Tineke!
Yeah, her thoughts on Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane going through the pain was powerful. I loved her breakdown of how we are wired for love and how the science supports it. Could have spent the whole time there. She sure is brilliant. It was an honor to talk with her.
I had only read, “Switch on Your Brain” which is good. This new one builds on that and is really practical. Good stuff!
